What is PPAI?
Promotional Products Association International is the only international not-for-profit trade association for the promotional products industry. The Association offers education, technology, tradeshows, business products and services, mentoring, technology and legislative support to its more than 7,500 global member companies.

In 2003, PPAI celebrated 100 years of service to the promotional products industry and its members, making it one of the oldest trade associations in the United States.

SJM's Involvement
As a member of PPAI, SJM attends industry tradeshows and education workshops so that we can better assist our clients.  It is at these shows that we gather ideas not only on new products available to our industry but creative ways they can be used, decorated and packaged. 

While all SJM team members attend industry educational seminars, we are proud to have two members who have gone above and beyond and achieved the designation of Certified Advertising Specialists (CAS).

MAS/CAS certification is the only recognized credential in the promotional products industry and signifies that individuals have reached and continue to meet a higher standard of professionalism, knowledge and experience within the industry.

The CAS certification requires 70 classroom hours from a structured curriculum, three years experience in the promotional products industry and a passing score on the CAS certification exam. The MAS certification requires 170 classroom hours from a structured curriculum, five years experience in the promotional products industry and a passing score on the MAS certification exam.

Individuals who receive the industry benchmark MAS/CAS certification have made a commitment to increase the professionalism of the promotional products industry and its practitioners, uphold and raise industry standards and provide superior service to their clients.

Selecting the Right Partner
